Foodscaping is a modern term for the practice of integrating edible plants into ornamental landscapes. It is also referred to as edible landscaping and has been described as a crossbreed between landscaping and farming.
We view water not only as a vital element for plant growth but also as a precious resource that restores life in the soil and should be used efficiently. The basic idea is to create systems where water is stored, slowed, and infiltrated into the soil and then drained away if excess is left over.
It is estimated that one-third of the food we eat is produced with the help of bee pollination. When done right, beekeeping checks all three pillars of sustainability. First, it increases biodiversity helping balance ecosystems. Second, it is healthy for the human body due to its various nutritional and medicinal properties. Finally, it can be a good source of income and self-sustainability for the home gardener.
Our Hardscape service is designed to provide you with a beautiful and functional outdoor living space. We work with a variety of materials and have the experience and know-how to ensure that your project is completed to the highest standards. From design to installation, we'll collaborate with you every step of the way to ensure that you end up with a space you love spending time in.
Although we believe lawns are unproductive ecological spaces, we understand there are a few practical purposes they provide, such as providing a green recreational space for example. And because we don't spray any poisonous chemicals in the lawns we maintain, we get to use our caught grass clippings as compost materials! Hence, we've decided to provide sod installation and lawn maintenance. We also provide other basic yard services such as spreading pine straw and mulch, trimming up overgrown plants, and installation of ornamental plant designs.
